Already running your own backup software but missing an offsite copy? Backup Storage Rental gives you dedicated repository capacity you can point your existing jobs at, so you meet the 3-2-1 backup rule without buying and maintaining a second storage system.
Repositories are exposed as S3-compatible buckets with object-lock immutability, a target supported by most modern backup products (for example Veeam Backup & Replication, MSP360 or restic). Large initial datasets can be seeded by encrypted drive shipment instead of saturating your internet connection for weeks.
You keep full control of your backup jobs, schedules and encryption keys; we manage the storage platform, capacity and availability.

When your backup software encrypts data before upload — which we require during onboarding — we manage the storage platform but cannot read the contents of your backups. The keys stay with you.
We alert you at 80% and 90% of capacity. Writes are never blocked without notice; we contact you to upgrade the tier or add capacity before the repository is full.
You restore directly through your backup software over the internet. For very large restores, Enterprise customers can request their data on encrypted drives shipped to them.
