  • Immutable backup copies that ransomware or compromised accounts cannot modify or delete
  • Covers physical servers, VMware and Hyper-V VMs, SQL databases and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace data
  • Every job monitored, with failures investigated the same business day
  • Scheduled restore tests with written results, plus restores performed by our team on request

About Offsite Backup

Ransomware, failed hardware and accidental deletions all end the same way: you need a clean copy of your data that the incident could not reach. Offsite Backup keeps encrypted, immutable copies of your servers, virtual machines, databases and cloud mailboxes on infrastructure separate from your production environment.

Our engineers configure the backup jobs, monitor every run and investigate failures the same business day. Restore tests are performed on a schedule and documented in a report, so you know your recovery point and recovery time instead of assuming them.

Each tier defines how many systems are protected, how often backups run and how long they are kept. Restores — of a single file or an entire server — are performed by our team as part of the service.

Frequently asked questions

Who holds the encryption keys?

Each environment gets its own encryption keys. A copy of the recovery key is handed to your designated contact during onboarding, so you are never dependent on us to access your own data.

How fast can you restore a server?

It depends on data size and bandwidth. During onboarding we run a test restore and document realistic recovery times for your key systems; Enterprise includes an annual full-recovery exercise to confirm those numbers.

What happens to our backups if we cancel?

Your backup data remains yours. Before the term ends we can export the most recent restore points to storage you provide; remaining data is securely deleted 30 days after the term ends unless you ask otherwise.

Does this replace a disaster recovery plan?

Backup is one component. If you need documented procedures, roles and recovery priorities, see our Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Plan service.
