About Microsoft Azure Committed Spend, Managed

Azure Committed Spend, Managed turns unpredictable Azure invoices into a fixed monthly amount. Each tier includes a block of Azure consumption billed through TechSpire, plus the FinOps and governance work that keeps usage inside it: budgets and alerts, tagging and cost allocation, rightsizing and commitment-discount management.

Your Azure subscriptions stay in your organization’s own tenant under the Microsoft Customer Agreement; we receive the billing relationship and the delegated access needed to manage cost. Every month you get a cost report by business unit, application and environment, with recommendations ranked by savings and effort, and a review call to agree on actions.

Consumption above the monthly block is invoiced in arrears at the Azure prices that apply to your subscriptions, so nothing is switched off unexpectedly. Unused consumption carries forward from month to month within the same contract year.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if we use more or less than the monthly block?

Usage above the block is invoiced the following month at the Azure prices that apply to your subscriptions — services are never switched off because of overage. We alert you when usage reaches 80% of the block. Unused consumption carries forward month to month within the same contract year, but does not carry over into the next contract year.

Which terms apply to our Azure subscriptions?

Azure services are subject to the Microsoft Customer Agreement and Microsoft’s product terms for Azure. The subscriptions remain in your tenant and your company owns its resources and data. The price includes TechSpire licensing administration: billing reconciliation, reservation and savings plan management, Azure Hybrid Benefit tracking and renewals.

Can we change or cancel the commitment during the term?

You can raise the monthly block at any time, prorated to your renewal date; reductions take effect at renewal, and monthly billing does not shorten the commitment. Reservations and savings plans bought on your behalf are separate 1- or 3-year commitments under Microsoft’s own terms, with limited exchange and refund options, so we only buy them with your written approval.

Will Azure prices change during the term?

Your monthly block amount and TechSpire’s fee are fixed for each 12-month period. Azure service prices are set by Microsoft and can change, which affects how far the block goes; publisher price changes may also apply at renewal. We report any change that affects your spend in the monthly cost review.
